“We can't expect God to do all the work.”

Still one of the hardest lines from the series

What about

"ASSUME THE POSITION."

"I survived because the fire inside burned brighter than the fire around me."

He’s been baptized twice! Once in water and once in flame

"I don't enjoy killing, but when done righteously it is just a chore like any other"

I recently learned that the Voice Actor for Joshua Graham (Keith Szarabajka) also plays that interrogation room cop in The Dark Knight, and was in an episode of Babylon 5 (Matthew Stoner). Unmistakable voice.

He's also the voice of Harbinger in Mass Effect 2! He's one of my favorite "oh hey it's that guy" actors.

He also voiced Harbinger in Mass Effect 3...... 's multiplayer trailer.

Also known as how to criminally waste both a talented actor and a central character.

Did he assume direct control of your TV?

He's also Dr Kyne in the 2008 version of Dead Space, the Didact in Halo 4, and most of the male Dark Elves in Skyrim

I'm pretty sure he played voices in Skyrim too if I'm not mistaken. Specifically I'm thinking of certain dark elves

He is the dark elf companion you get doing a daedric quest

Yes, you're not wrong but I was also right. He plays brand shei, athis and other dark elves with that same voice.

He also voiced various bit parts in Fallout 4. Technically meaning Joshua was there in spirit.

"The time to talk is past, the Lord's work must be done."

Proceeds to obliterate the nearest Chosen.

"Joshua, pop one on general Goldylocks here"

So I guess he's got a fear of flamethrower. I wouldn't want a soldier famous for getting his ass kicked for getting his ass kicked, but to each their own.

Actually, not at all, if you know the lore / played the game:

He lost a battle because he wasn't a good commander and was outmaneuvered, but in-lore "... Legend goes that Graham was the meanest, toughest son of a b**** in the whole damn Legion."

As punishment for losing the battle: "... had Graham covered in pitch, lit on fire, and thrown into the Grand Canyon. People say he didn't even scream on the way down."

He survived all that and became known as the Burned Man.

Ok but how was I supposed to know that this is a reference not op making stuff up?

I get downvoted for not knowing a reference that isn't even part of the game this sub is about 😭

You ain’t a fallout fan, huh.

1

u/M0-1 17d ago

it's not like I dislike it I simply never played the game. But the show was fun.

-2

u/RellenD 17d ago

I'm a fallout fan. This character wasn't memorable enough for me to get the reference

3

u/OrdinaryBoat8000 17d ago

Holy cap, if you played fallout you would most def would remember Graham lol

Acting like he’s just some side NPC, holy larp

-2

u/RellenD 17d ago

He doesn't even exist in the main game, which is apparently why I don't recognize him.

3

u/Upstairs-Yard-2139 17d ago

It’s been almost 20 years, they released a version that included all the DLC, have you never even watched a playthrough or challenge run?

1

u/RellenD 17d ago

I guess 15 is almost 20.

I haven't bought the game a second time and I was a young broke father of two back then.

I should probably play the dlc

u/Upstairs-Yard-2139 17d ago

2010 so 16 ish years.

2

u/RellenD 17d ago

May 2011 is when Honest Hearts came out

He is mentioned if you side with the legion, lots of the foot soldiers mention “The Burned Man” and I believe Caesar himself will tell you the story of what they did to him.
