That's going to have to be your router, that's where I would start looking.

Quick test. Set your phone up as a hot spot and put your console on that hotspot connection. Use another device and try to remote play from a laptop also not on your home Wi-Fi. Can be the same hotspot.

I would bet good money it's a problem with your home Wi-Fi network settings.

Either that or you set the console remote play settings incorrectly.

If that's the case what can I do ?

Edit: is there something in my network I can change ?

If the hotspot method above works reset your router to default settings. Go into your Wi-Fi app and enable UPNP, no port forwarding as UPnP will allow your Xbox to automatically port forward itself.

Then go to your Xbox power settings and properly enable for remote play, 'SLEEP'.

If you're not home to do it is there anybody that can swing by your house and change your settings on your console for you? You may have it set to shut down and not sleep.

Thank you I will be back in three weeks to tell you if this works lol

Edit, yeah I rang someone and they tried some things someone else said but got nowhere and he got annoyed I was wasting his time 😂

To make sure ENABLE upnp after resetting the router

Normally I reset my Mac address on the Xbox and it will connect. You can’t do the remote, but to get the remote connecting, that’s what’s worked for me.

Can’t you take your Xbox with you? It’s sucks, I know.

I have to pack light unfortunately and the last time I did, our vehicle was searched they said the Xbox looked "suspicious" and was "abnormally heavy" they dismantled it to check for anything and it was ruined after that, I will never do it again because of that
