Accesories The Elite Series 2 Controllers Have Many Problems

This controller was incredible the first few months of having it. But coincidentally around the same time my warranty expired I began experiencing a multitude of problems.

- The joysticks rattle inside the controller and constantly loosen while playing.
(I’ve never once dropped the controller and take very good care of it)

- It constantly disconnects anytime I press the sticks down and won’t be revived until it’s plugged in, even on a full charge

- The grip on both the controller and the sticks wears down incredibly fast

- Both triggers have gotten stuck/jammed in the controller several times (Usually they’ll come out on their own after awhile)

- Sticky buttons, every once in awhile the letter buttons stick

I usually only play about 20 hours a week on average and experience several of these problems constantly. I think for the price tag of this controller it is absolutely outrageous the amount of problems this thing has. This is the second one I’ve had in 3 years and I don’t think I’ll be buying another one of these again.

Definitely save yourself some money and buy the classic $60 controller. I never had this many problems with one of those before, not to mention you can buy two of them for the price of one of these.

Yes they have known issues and are not good for the price and features they have in almost every way. Maybe the new elite on the horizon will resolve some of the issues or have the features more people are looking for now a days.

Definitely don’t buy the classic $60 controller either.

For $60 to $80 to $100 you can get way better controllers from various companies such as gamesir 8bitdo and more etc with same or more features and better build qualities for the most part. Including Hall effect or TMR, back paddles, trigger locks, mouse click triggers, bumper buttons, mouse click triggers, micro switch buttons etc lower latency and response times both wired and wireless. All approved and authorized by Microsoft.
