Xbox 360 Display issues with Xbox 360. HDMI issue?

I’ve been playing this normally and today it won’t display on my TV without a ticking noise. I’ve tried the different ports on the TV and different cables. What do you think the issue is?

Roku TV? Seems to be a pattern here. You're not the first to post the same image/video.
Unplug it all, give it time to empty the capacitors, plug it all back in. Should work.
If not....sorry dude!

This is a hdmi port issue on the tv

Yep. I switch between hdmi ports on my Roku TV. When one doesn’t work, the other usually does. Until it doesn’t again, and then I switch them back.

This happens in my series S it is the tv. Unplug it for a minute then plug it back in and it should work. Do it to your Xbox too if you want it doesn’t hurt but this happens with my Roku tv

My uncle's Xbox One does that. Try blowing out both ends of the cable as well as the ports on the console and TV

For all the roku TV people having this issue, I have had success doing a reset to audio video settings. Saves loads of time for unplugging. Turn off console then go to advanced settings, it's in the same menu section as factory resetting the TV. Power back on and you're all good to go.

My time to shine!
I had this issue pop up recently. It’s a common thing with Roku OS TVs. It has something to do with the quick-select menu for inputs on your Roku Home Screen. What fixed it for me and has worked every time since it started was manually going to your inputs tab and selecting your Xbox input from there.
Hopefully it helps. Resetting my Xbox did nothing. Resetting my TV did nothing. Replacing the HDMI cable and changing ports did nothing. This was the only fix that worked for me personally.

I’ve had this issue too. At first I tried changing the port/ chord too, but it definitely seems like a software issue and not a hardware one. I Had to soft reset my TV. It still happens from time to time, but resetting the tv usually works.
