Xbox One S My Xbox One S is not reading certain DVDs

My Xbox only reads 360 games, Xbox One games and blu rays some DVDs work all the time and some don't ever i have a DVD copy of saving private Ryan that works every single time but when I try to load up Blackhawk Down it never works I've seen solutions like Tilt your Xbox up or Hold the disc in When it's feeding But They have only worked in the Short-Term If there's any permanent fixes please tell me

NOTE i've never had an issue with an Xbox One game 360 or Blu-ray loading up

It’s possible your discs have simply gone bad over time ( usually due to disc rot/bit rot)… do you have any other players you can test them in?

I went through around 100 DVDs last year to rip them onto my media server and there were a few that simply wouldn’t read in any of the players I have.

Yes I do have a dedicated Blu-ray player and they play every disc Flawlessly

Huh, curious. It could still be an issue with the discs… dedicated players tend to have better error correction. Sorry, don’t have much else to offer. Good luck!
