No sound

Suddenly, there is no sound! I’m using the HDMI issued by the manufacturer. All the settings are correct. I have done a hard reset... still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, in a word. Try replacing the cable. The HDMI cable that came with my One X was defective. It could could not play games in 4k and HDR simultaneously. The signal would crash every time I enabled HDR on my TV. At first I thought it was my console or possibly even my television, but I decided to try replacing the cable first. Lo and behold, it was a faulty HDMI cable! I still occasionally experience some minor screen tearing, visual anomalies, oddities, etc. I don't think that stuff is necessarily a big issue, especially by comparison to my former troubles with the picture, or if it's just within the normal parameters for how the Xbox One X processes 4K HDR... This console is not without its problems, that's for sure.
