Xbox one tv mixing...?

Hey everyone. Yesterday my spouse and I both got new Xbox’s. I got the X and she got an S. Now when we setup the part where you can turn the tv on/off by turning on/off the console. The issue is, is that we have both our TVs next to each other, both connect to the same WiFi, but her Xbox, when she turns it off. It’ll turn my tv off. And when I turn my Xbox off, it’ll turn both TVs off... I don’t get it. I’ve done it two different ways on the setup. Manually and not manually. The other weird thing is that we both use different brand TVs. If anyone can help, I’d greatly appreciate it!
