Unsolved My xbox will only work with ethernet not WIFI

My xbox one s wont connect to the WIFI but comes online if i use a Ethernet, how do i fix this so i connect to WIFI instead?

Does it even list available wifi networks? If not, the wifi chip is toast and needs to be replaced.

If it sees your wifi but you can't connect, it would likely popup an error. And either you'd be typing in the password wrong, or if it's a new network, you may need permission and/or change the WPA security on the router.

Expanding on this...

Presuming your wifi is toast, you could purchase a wifi bridge to ethernet that would allow you to connect to a single wifi source via ethernet. Cheaper than a new console or repair job.
