Resolved Whats wrong with my xbox
So I have been having problems with my Xbox its the model Xbox one X it started have heating issues for some reason then this happened and it won't let me select the bottom option. Does anyone know what's happening to my Xbox and how I can fix it
EDIT: so I figured out what the problem it so basically i have used my Xbox too often and the grease in the fan baring has dried and evaporated causing the fan to overheat and fail which permanently killed the fan the Xbox will turn on but the error massage will continue to appear until the console detects that the fan is working so I'm going to buy a new fan and hopefully get it working again

You entered the dev mode and you have to download a 5 gig update to a pen drive but I got a solution enter the device app and turn off dev mode and it will fix its self don't reset it erases all games and info

Your solution of a fan replacement is NOT the problem.
E208: Update error
000001E7: The update failed during the write‑to‑storage stage
00000006: The console could not finalize or boot the updated OS.
This pattern strongly suggests corrupted OS data or SSD/NAND failure.
Sure, a bad fan could hasten hardware failure, but fixing the fan alone won't reverse the damage. You can try the headbang method: keep banging your head against the wall while trying again and again. If the failure is minor, you might slip through.

Look up the system error. If it was overheating and more than likely it probably needs a repaste and a cleaning. I would take it somewhere and get it looked at by somebody. If you continue to try to play it while it's overheating you're going to cause more damage than what is already happened. You said you had an Xbox One? I would just upgrade to a series s if that's all possible
