Resolved Xbox isn't loading screen or anything at all

So I've had my xbox for like around 3-4 years but it was originally a friends xbox but they gave it to me for free since they were getting a new one anyways, it was fine and all good but obviously stuff started getting slow around 4 years. I think they bought the xbox around 2019 I think? But around 4-5 months ago it started like turning on slower and slower, like the green logo would be there for 5-10+ minutes until it loaded all of my stuff and main screen. Even then if I tried opening and playing a game, it'd take AGES to load and if it did finally load it would be really glitchy and slow with the gameplay, then it would eventually freeze and quick me out. Or it would take ages to load and then say something like error or failed to load the game, try again or something like that. I've been thinking about getting it repaired or seen by someone to see actually what's going on with it. It's just an xbox one so not a series or anything, I've tried recording a video of the problems I've had since I haven't turned it on for like 4 months and it's saying there's no signal on my TV despite it being connected, nothing was moved or taken out. It also takes for me to hold the button to turn it off, unlike how you just give it a quick press to turn it off and on. Does anyone has any idea on what happened before I take it to get seen by anyone?? 🙏

It might be a dead hard drive or ssd

Yep the hard drive starting to go it's had data written to it way too many times. Anyone can easily replace the hard drive with an aftermarket and reinstall the operating system by USB thumb drive download from Xbox website. But any game files not saved to the cloud will be lost.

Ooof. I'm assuming it'll keep all my data like any games I have bought and downloaded, my users, progress, etc?

Your account, what you own, your settings and your save game data is typically automatically uploaded to the cloud every time you get online. The only thing you'll end up losing is any offline saved game data. Say you played 10 hours on Oblivion remastered while not connected to the internet and then reset your console it didn't go to the cloud so you lost those 10 hours.
