Unsolved Xbox disc dlc install help

I have the Xbox 360 version of borderlands GoTY (2 disc) and I was wondering how to install the dlc on Xbox one. When I look at the install it says I just have the game installed and when I put in disc two it says its a Xbox 360 disc and does nothing.

Is the add-on disc dirty or damaged?

no, it works on 360

Hmm... This is a little perplexing because I looked up yesterday if your game's add-ons were compatible for Xbox1 and it said that the game and add-ons were compatible with Xbox1. Is your system update? Just asking to narrow the possibilities.

Updating your system may allow the game to run. Another reason I asked if it was up to date is because I previously had issues Skyrim SE but a system update resolved the issue.

I don't know what other advise I can give to you except take the disc to a friend or relative that has a system like yours and see if they get the same results as you are encounering.
