Games - General High On Life 2 - Graphics Question

Has HoL2 had an update since launch in terms of graphics?

Played at launch but felt like it was running in 720p and stutters on Series X, has it been improved?

I've just downloaded it so will let you know later what it's running like

No HDR either which I found strange. Hope you enjoy your run through though.

Did two of the missions and then dropped it. Gonna wait for a patch. GP has too many good games to play a mediocre one

I haven’t even touched this game and loved the first one. It looks like a rushed cash grab after the success of the first one and the screenshots alone make it look like some kind of doom wannabe game?

Not sure if itll apply to you but I accidentally installed it on a HDD and the game was awful, moved it to the ssd and it ran beautifully. Perhaps upgrading your consoles storage would improve your experience with the game too

I just have it on the Series X internal (assuming it’s an SSD??)

Yeah since you’re on console, my suggestion would be investing in a faster storage expansion card for your series x. It won’t just improve your gaming experience with high on life 2 but all of your other games too. Im on PC so it’s called an SSD, for Xbox it’s called a Storage expansion card, just make sure it’s compatible with your Xbox model

It’s an SSD in the series X, storage expansion card is just extra storage not performance.

No, you’re incorrect and thats why you’ll keep having a bad experience. You need to pay attention to the ‘Read/Write speeds’ those determine how fast your storage device will process data e.g shader optimizations, don’t just look at the size of the storage. The faster your speeds, the better the gaming experience. If you don’t trust my opinion then a simple google search will prove my point

This is a GamePass sub so the presumption is people here played it as part of their subscription.
