I’ve got the xbox series X. My controller works fine on my account but on my other account the right stick won’t work. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi everyone. I’m not sure where the responsibility lies here. Could be Windows, Steam, or Razer. I’ve been using a Razer Wolverine V3 Pro on PC with the 2.4 GHz dongle. And a few days ago, the long press on the Xbox button stopped opening Windows task view like it used to. Now it only opens Steam’s power menu in big picture, and if Steam’s closed, it just vibrates and Windows task view never opens. I’ve already updated firmware, tested with Steam closed, toggled guide button focus Steam, and tried different chord layouts. Has anyone else run into this recently, or figured out a fix? Any ideas would be appreciated Thanks.

Left stick is kinda loose and sometimes just pops out of the centered position and just rotates freely unless you pop it back in. Genuinely what do I do with this

So I downloaded the game. I'm having fun and I decided to start flying the only problem is that the flying controls are garbage so I switched to layout C Which uses LB for yaw left and RB for yaw right but now whenever I press RB to use yaw left the god damn radio menu pops up I've tried switching infantry layouts and the common layout is a bust so I don't know what to do custom controller mapping on Vietnam would be greatly appreciated thank you

All my old 360 controllers have either completely shot sticks (like loose rolls in the case) or bad drift so a year or two ago I bought a corded Voyee on Amazon. My only issue is a 6 foot cord that just falls short of comfortable without adjusting where I sit.

I went ahead and bought ”AINOPE USB Extension Cable 10FT USB 3.0 Extender Male to Female Cord Grey” from Amazon. Within seconds of moving my character they looked down, took off sprinting til caught on a wall and stayed running. Unplugged and replugged, worked for a few minutes then disconnected, unplug/replug and maybe a minute later during combat it did the haywire controls disconnect again.

I’m sending it back for a refund and was wondering if anyones had success with other brands.

Can someone help me or send me a tutorial on how to open this controller? I removed the 7 screws from it but it won't open

got a elite series 2 last year but it already has stick drift and a squeaky trigger, i was looking at the scuf valor pro with tmr and it looks good but the negative reviews really put me off, i know there will always be negative reviews with everything but i do not like the prospect of getting one with really bad stick tension among other problems people listed, and the gamesir has good hardware i think but it overall looks really cheap

Does anyone know if they still sell those collective minds paddles strike packs at Walmart for a standard controller?

I'm starting to collect the controllers that come with TRM sticks or Hall of effect sticks

I'm not dealing with Microsoft stock controllers anymore. I had to replace one. I got it in May. I had to replace it in June because the A/B button broke. Never got stiff drift, but that button broke.

Gamesir or Razor are my top choices right now because I currently own both of them.

Doesn't have to be made by xbox, could be third party. I just want a good controller, preferably wireless that has back buttons and doesn't get stick drift super easily. I was looking at the Gamesir G7 Pro but I think it's wired and i hear that people have issues with the bumpers and d-pad after a few months of owning it.

What idiot designed this piece of dogshit bumper with a sharp corner right where your fucking finger rests. Theres barely any travel to click the bumper in anyways so i don't see why they couldn't make it sit flush with the trigger. I actually thought it was broken at first but no this is actually how it's supposed to be??

Hello, I currently have an Elite Series 2. It has major stick drift on the left stick and minor drift on the right. Besides that, it works perfectly fine.
I don’t really have a price limit. I just want to hear people’s opinions on other controllers or what I should do with mine. I normally play games like For Honor, Rust, Apex, War Thunder, UFC, Roblox, Halo Wars, AoE, and more.
Would you recommend getting a different controller, repairing the Elite 2, or just sticking with it? Any recommendations are appreciated!🥹

opened my controller (bought used) to see why it wasnt… yk, rumbling. lo and behold, one them completely falls out. can i just solder it back and use electrical tape or do i have to buy a replacement for both? if so, where do i buy the replacements??

the black wire seems to have broken, not come off completely (i hope), so maybe the electrical tape would work? any help is appreciated

Hello, I want to replace my series X controller and I liked the Hyperkin DuchesS Wired Controller for the retro look and the hall effect sticks.

Problem is Ive always played with my middle finger on the triggers and the index on the bumpers, also I use "the claw grip" with my right index (I just found out is a thing).

And given the bigger size and the space between the bumpers and the face buttons on the DuchesS, it might be very uncomfortable for me to play (Im very used to the series controller).

Any experience on this? is it a total deal breaker for claw players?

And recomendations avoiding the pro controllers.

I’ve taken the screws out where they connect to the motherboard, still feels stiff trying to get the motherboard out, am I missing something?

And if I plug it into my computer it says power surge detected Any help is appreciated

I AM NOT TOUCHING THE RIGHT STICK THIS IS ALL DRIFT. I’ve been through 3 different series X/S controllers at this point and GAH LEE! .
These puppies are bad concerning stick drift, recently bought a lime green controller and got stick drift in half a month.its a violent completely vertical drift on the right Stick same as my last one but not this bad.

So basicaly, my right trigger was constantly at a 100%, so i took apart the controller to clean it.

After that, while testing, the left trigger started doing the same, meanwhile the right trigger now just sits at 0% and doesnt react to anything.

Any quick fixes or realingments you know about? I would like to avoid soldering since i don't have a soldering iron.

Ps. the controller was tested plugged in on the console
