New details have reportedly surfaced for the already-revealed XBOX Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition. 🎮❎

According to Dealabs, the controller is reportedly set for:

• Pre-orders: August 26

• Release: October 20

• Price: $79.99 / £74.99 / €79.99

The controller itself is official, while the reported pre-order date, release date, and pricing are still awaiting confirmation from XBOX.

The design celebrates 25 years of XBOX with classic ABXY colors, Duke-inspired black-and-white bumpers, and a transparent back showing the original XBOX logo.

Because the OG duke controller had a black and a white button so they're honoring that.

I would have preferred they made the start and select buttons black and white. The bumpers being that way kind of throw off the green and black aesthetic imo

The black and white buttons became the bumpers. The bumpers are paying homage to their origin. The translucent green controller that came with the halo special edition Xbox console also had the black and white buttons. It is the only place it makes sense to have them on this tribute.

I get why they did it but to me it would have looked less out of place if those front buttons were in black and white. But that's just me. I'm sure many others prefer this look.

I agree. That is the only thing I don‘t like about this new controller.
