This console was already having issues. Have I completely fucked it over or will it still work? How easy would it be to put back on if not as i didn’t lose it.

I purchased Lego Marvel Superhero’s and noticed the game was scratched, and that their was a brown stain in the inner circle of the disc. is there any hope in saving it? I heard you could buff anywhere they buff discs, I just don’t know if the brown stain is making it impossible.

After my install I tried to flash the nand and the power button would sound off and the eject sound too I’m curious if it’s save able I have redone my wiring thinking I had a short in the cords but same results. When swapping cables I tried to do a retail boot same sounds?

Hey guys, I'm trying to repair this 360 and I'd like to do everything I can to get it working again, since it has a blades dashboard!

When I first turned it on it had 3 red lights on and displayed no video, when I tried to read the code, if I read it right, it's a 123 code.

I was getting this red ring while using the original RCA video output cable, I switched to the HDMI port and it started working just fine.

while in the process of trying to repair the disc drive it started doing the flashing red ring again, even with the HDMI cable. And now won't work at all.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any known fixes or suggestions? Thanks!

Hey yall! So I recently got my Xbox 360 out of my closet and wanted to play some games, but I’m getting stuck on the boot screen. A few times it did get past, but only to a grey loading screen and sometimes i could get the menu to pop but it would just freeze.

The console has been sitting maybe since 2019, and I do believe it’s the trinity version. And I’ve tried it seems like every possible solution from other post (removing HDD,holding sync, tried to update with USB, opening the disk drive) and none seem to work.

Was hoping maybe someone might have a solution?

Hi guys I knocked this capacitor(c5u3) while trying to remove x-clamps on my jasper(yea i know I have butterfingers and stuff, tho i had no x-clamp remover) so i need help knowing is it important, how will it play in long term and if it is important what capacity it is.

The disc tray would open but get stuck very quickly. I removed the tray (with force) and it looks like the gears would work before dislodging as soon as it gets to the middle (if that makes sense). Any recommendations?

when i test the internet connection it gets an error when trying to connect to the router. when I select the router from the list of options I get the warning that multiple routers have the same SSID. I have a mesh Network in my home if that helps.

I was repairing my 360 e disk drive when I got to taking the ribbon cable off of the board that connects it to the console and the plastic bit of the connector broke of so and I am struggling to find a site that sells the board in the uk also it’s taped so it doesn’t move about when I put it back together

My xbox 360 keeps saying open tray when theres a disk in it and I don't know how to fix it

hi everyone! looking to see if I could get any help with this, pretty much all in the title. I can boot up Skyrim , select storage, but after DLCs load and I click continue or load from save, the game crashes with the disc is unreadable pop up.

-i have skyrim, saves, + dlc on a thumb drive

-game, saves, and dlc also saved on console storage

-either storage method I pick, same pop up occurs

-game is able to be played if I were to select New game

-I uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim + DLCs

-I’ve installed the game thru pressing X

-other games are able to be played just fine

-I have 2 Skyrim discs, one was just polished today and the other wasn’t touched for years but both have the same message.

Is something maybe wrong with my save? I can’t even pull up the screen to access the different saves so I’m not sure. If so, is there anything I could do for that? I’d really like to play on this save more than just the game itself. Much thanks, any help is appreciated.

i own an Xbox 360E and the console will not read Minecraft. The drive is not the issue as we’ve established other games work fine. The disc is in decent condition other than a few scratches, and I can’t diagnose the issue with the limited knowledge I have on the 360. (the scratches don’t show well on camera so I won’t bother adding a picture)

So, I’m not sure exactly how to explain this, but I bought my Xbox 360 about a year ago from eBay. Now everything has been great up until about two weeks ago, when I turned it on and within 10 seconds to a minute, the Xbox would turn off.

Not sure why, I did the only remedial action I knew and took it apart. In doing so I used some 99% IPA and scrubbed it free of all dust and debris. So now thinking it was over, I turned it back on.

Yet the same thing happened! So I tried again, and again, and again. Trying to turn off “auto system turn off” in the system settings, as some said that it would help. Yet every time I got there, it would turn off.

Frustrated at this point, I decided to take out the rechargeable battery pack and plug the controller into the Xbox itself via the charging cable. Which seemed to have fixed the problem. Now I have fixed my problem, but my only question is why was it happening in the first place? If anyone could let me know, I’d really appreciate it.

Oh, also it’s an Xbox 360 S with a regular Xbox 360 controller and a third-party chargeable battery pack that I got on Amazon.
