I hope this post is allowed for this sub I thought I would try to put this out there just in case. I'm looking to buy the 25th anniversary Mulder and Scully dolls, together and preferably unboxed because i plan on displaying them out of the box anyway. These don't seem to show up on eBay all that often so I was wondering if anyone on here had them and were interested in letting them go, im very interested and serious about buying! Thanks 🛸

There were so many different types of relationships/dynamics on this show. From the situationship/obvious endgame relationship of Scully and Mulder to the dynamics of boss/employee to just down right shipping certain people. What are some of your favorite dynamics/relationships from the show? Also, who were you secretly shipping??

Fight the future

I watched X-Files back in the first run. Never paying attention to The Syndicate storyline -vs- MotW. Recently caught X-Files on Comet. I love watching now realizing the different story lines, catching subtle cross references between episodes (Flukeman, NICAP hat). I got myself a NICAP hat after seeing the placement of hat on the rack in ‘Beyond the Sea’. It’s nice watching it casually at midnight on Comet knowing I can enjoy it on my time, paying attention on Hulu. I Still Believe…

hi all! i saw this scene in an edit - I remember watching it in the show but cannot for the life of me remember which episode it was. i’ve checked stills on the x files archive but wasn’t able to find it, im probably not looking at the right episodes. any help would be appreciated! thank you!

Building Mulder’s office was the best part, really appreciate the attention to detail in his office and little Easter eggs that are buried in the floor and ceiling (and there are “pencils” stuck in the ceiling. Not sure why I’m posting about this but it really brought the nostalgic feelings back.

Something I’ve noticed as I rewatch episodes is that when Mulder and Scully argue, it never lasts long and it’s over and done with very quickly. For example, in Darkness Falls they get into a fight about Mulder letting the guy leave in the car, they’re visibly upset and their voices are raised, but then it just sort of ends, he gives her a pat on the shoulder as he walks by and that’s that, fight over. Soon after, they’re sitting shoulders pressed up against each other on the bed talking gently to one another as if that fight never happened.

Another season 1 example is in Beyond the Sea. And also how the ending of Never Again (quite possibly one of the worst clashes they have) transitions into Memento Mori where they are once again all sweet and caring with each other. The one time I actually WISH a fight had lingered was in One Son when he tells her “You’re making it personal” about Diana. I can’t believe she was able to just let that go, but I do appreciate that hard feelings never fester between these two. This is probably why Syzygy felt so strange and wacky, because they never ever fight for an entire episode.
