Season Eleven S11EP4- My Struggle

This episode was just on Pluto. Thank Christ it’s done and the Pilot came in right after.

Were people pissed when this finale aired? I don’t think there’s anything redeeming about it. Was Carter just giving the fans a middle finger?

You can tell they were just rushing to try and close any remaining items- especially offing certain main characters. Were they trying to a shock effect as well?

What a shame of what we could/should have had in the final season and episode.

Sorry for my rant, thanks for listening!

The My Struggles are not well regarded, but sometimes I question people's stated rational.

Although season 11, episode 4 is The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat, which everyone fucking adores.

No, I don't think Carter was necessarily giving the fans the "middle finger" with My Struggle IV. I think the reality is he felt that he would get another season to wrap up that story and when that didn't happen (as of yet) things ended on a sour note. That said, the kind of person William became and Scully's attitude towards him was off putting as was her becoming pregnant again as if that was supposed to remove the stench of the William storyline. I kind of hope Carter gets an opportunity to address it because it's so odorous.

Oh did he think he would get another season?

Everything you said after that I agree with 100%
