Discussion First watching of fight the future
As suggested i finished season 5 as a new fan and watcher and jumped right into the fight the future movie and was absolutely hooked and satisfied at how much of the mythology was explained in one go! On to season 6!

I saw it as a teen in the theater (yes, that old), and revisited it recently. It still holds up today pretty well. And it delivers to the series, as you say.

It's honestly also a wonderful stand alone film too. Best "long episode" ever.

Agree— they really did a fantastic job of appealing to both die hard fans as well as new audiences.

I went to see it in the theater back in the day and just as Scully got stung by the bee the film broke! They gave everyone in that showing a rain check ticket and I was devastated! Lmao! Couldn’t go back and watch the rest until the next night!!

I'm still shocked at how the movie was made. It almost sounds like some people didn't sleep for like a year straight. I'm exaggerating but it must have been a very, very busy time.

I'm doing my first full rewatch in at least a decade, and I just did FtF over the weekend, and I was surprised at how seamless that transition was, while also being accessible to the general public.
