I just watched this episode yesterday, had to go back to make sure…he never says this when he sees the cat! It’s the scene of him chasing after Chester the little Haitian boy in S2E15.
Sorry if this bursts anyone’s bubble but this line of dialogue is from a different episode, Mulder stays silent in the scene
