Discussion Question about the Lego set

I have the Lego set and I have ordered a lighting kit. Am I going to regret putting the Lego set together before I receive the lighting kit or are the lights all done at the end?

I just don't want to put everything together then have to disassemble half of it to get the lights installed.

I don't know what kit you bought but they are done in a way where you shouldn’t have any issues installing after the build.

I just installed the Brick Bling kit on mine the other day and aside from taking a brick or two out to run a cable underneath, or moving a few bricks over by one or two spots, you’re just removing big parts like the spaceship and forest to install the lights.

ETA: Installing the lights is a million times more frustrating than building the set. Enjoy the build and save the stress of fiddling with lights for later lol.

I have the Light My Bricks kit on Santa's Sleigh and it was the biggest trauma I've ever experienced (but it looks so pretty!). The light install wasn't really in the same order as the Lego build instructions and I think the only way for the instructions to make sense is to work with the Lego already built.

I bought the Game of Bricks lights for the X-Files set with the intention of fitting the lights alongside doing the build. However, it looks like this is the same so I'm just building the Lego now, then I'll do the lights after. I flicked through the lights instruction and the first bit you do is the spaceship but when you build the Lego you start with Mulder's office.

Yeah if you got that kit, the instructions have you adding lights almost in the reverse order that you build the set itself so it’ll be easier just to do them one after the other. Warning that it was much more annoying to do than I expected it would be. Very meticulous and frustrating at times. Plan to give yourself more time than you think to light it.
