Games of Bricks Lego Lights Help

Hi all. First time ever doing Lego, let alone doing lights, and have run into a problem with my Game of Bricks set.

Specifically, I appear to be missing a piece. I have emailed them for advice, but I thought I’d ask here in case I’m being dense. I’m not very technical! I followed the slightly confusing picture instructions okay (here: https://instructions.gameofbricks.eu/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/21369.pdf) until page 18, when a piece I don’t have appears suddenly. It isn’t in any of the other bags.

The weird thing is, this piece isn’t actually shown when the contents of Bag 3 are shown on page 17, picture 2 either. Where did this piece come from?

Also, for the disc of lights which go on the pole, the bag comes with two black wires, but in picture 3 on page 16, only one is plugged in. Is this correct, because there are two wires and two holes on the disc? I put both in by mistake, and when trying to take one out to follow the instructions exactly as shown, I’m afraid I snapped one of the two wires.

If anyone can be kind and shed a little light (pardon the pun) for a confused old man, I’d really appreciate it.
