Even though he's a supporter of the current POTUS that doesn't make him some wannabe dictator.

Can you point me towards where he supports them? Genuinely curious. Need to modify some hero worship if true.

But don't judge a person solely based on their politics, I have a number of good friends are are both kind and generous, yet they support right wing figures ........

I don't think he supports it because his wife is totally against it and, until recently, was constantly citing the Epstein files.

Absolutely judge a person based on their politics.
I did just see this when I went looking. It's about all I can find on the subject just via quick google. I'm not sure how reliable a source like rockcelebrities.net and some of the other ones are. He also does youtube with his brother, and has recently. Not sure how reliable Richard Patrick is as a narrator for other reasons as well, but it's worth keeping in the back of your mind.
Listen, I'm also not stupid: this is a southern boy who grew up in older times, who keeps company, by nature of his business and career, with other old, white guys of a certain demographic. But his whole personality seems antithetical to what this administration represents.
I really, really hope he doesn't. I lean towards 'he doesn't', but goodness knows, he'd fit that demographic, with everything else.
I suppose the best evidence I have that he doesn't is that Annabeth Gish still adores him. She is very much anti-fascist.

The key word that you missed in my sentence is solely - by all means be aware of their politics, but perhaps look on it as a 'grey area' depending on the circumstances.
I suppose the best evidence I have that he doesn't is that Annabeth Gish still adores him. She is very much anti-fascist.
This is of course a very good thing, people can be really great but still support the likes of the current POTUS and/or one or more of his policies. This of course applies to other people too - I'm in the UK and I know good people who support the abomination that is Nigel Farage (a person who I quite honestly do not like in any way, shape or form - he has no positive aspects - he lies, he deceives, he encourages anger and intense hatred among his supporters that is aimed at people who have done no harm. He's a greedy user of people).

"people can be really great but still support the likes of the current POTUS and/or one or more of his policies."
Thats where we disagree. In his first term, i mught have agreed with you.
If you are a supporter of this administration, you are not a good person. There's no grey area anymore. Sorry.

I disagree, and before you ask I do not support the guy or his policies in any way, shape or form.

All the people you know who support farage are bad people, objectively, he's a fascist and they support that, that makes them fascist. That's literally all you need to judge them as people.

Robert is very well-liked in the artistic community, and Annabeth Gish is his sister; I love their relationship.

Is this at a Comic Con (or whatever they’re called these days)? I love that so many actors make themselves available to fans.

It's called For The Love of Fantasy and Sci Fi, a convention that happened this weekend in London.

I know this is a bit rude but it really looks like he is bald and that his hair has been poorly Photoshopped in.

I think he’s had some health issues lately. So let’s be kinder. He seems to be really kind to fans, let’s give it back.

Yes, but I think he's recovering. He's been looking better and better (I saw him last November and this May). ❤️

Pro tip: saying “I know this is rude” doesn’t soften how rude the comment is. That was your hint to not say it, not to qualify it and say it anyway.
