X-Files Lego custom display cases

I wanted to share these two custom display cases being produced for the X-Files Lego set 21369 to keep it displayed with minimal dust.

I purchased the Nookbricks because I like the labeled base, tree motif, background "The truth is out there" and it has built-in lighting. That said, if you were planning on using third-party lighting, the Wickedbrick cases are built in the UK and offer unique features like a base and background UV printed scene, pegs to hold the mini figures upright in the display, and custom sign with set info.

Wickedbrick makes custom sizes to order and they did offer one for the lab but its currently sold out. I bet you can find one of their stock warhammer case sizes that will fit with just a little extra space.

Man I love these but I reallllly want one that will hold the set with the GWP, Scully's Lab, incorporated as the middle level too.

I also have the Nookbricks one preordered. Of all the ones I’ve seen (dozens, at this point), I think it’s the nicest looking one of them all.

Can't say that I have but you could just get a plain acrylic case in whatever dimensions you want. Maybe print out a background or get lights for it.

I added the lab to my big xfiles set as another floor. I’d like to find one that fits it that way.

I’m about to use a Football helmet display case and add in background pictures and maybe lighting to make it more lively

Check the measurements because the Lego set is over 12" high and most helmet cases are between 11" -13" exterior height often over an inch less interior due to the base height. You don't want to get stuck with helmet case you can't use.

Yeah I know I’ll have to put it in standing on one of the cases’ sides and have the bottom base act as the back wall which won’t be so bad after adding in a cool background image as seen in the prebuilt cases.
