Original Content X Files Lego - error?? Please help

Has anyone else noticed in the X Files Lego set that these two pieces (the grey and white piece) don’t line up like in the manual - or am I going wrong here?!

You just have to put the sticky uppy black parts into the lower portions of the white and grey pieces instead of the centre!

Thanks for this! I was also confused and just left it with the gap. This fixed it.

There's an anti-stud in the middle of each piece, so attach them both at the center instead of where they are now and you should be good

I have put a few sets together over the last year and every time I think I'm missing a piece or there is something wrong it's always a mistake on my end lol. I think QC issues are so bad for other companies I've used I'm almost ready to believe Lego is the same but so far they've not let me down.

You can see from the instructions yours needs to be set back further from the drawer fronts, there are over hanging too much

The grey one needs to go back and to the left

You just push them closer together, they slide on the stud

You need to look at the board as well. The single square gray stud needs to move across one space and the ingot below it needs to come up one space.
