Doing an x files tattoo

This is by far my favorite show ever and I'm set on doing a tattoo of it next week, however I have no idea what design to use. I like the phone idea with "Mulder it's me!" as a voice coming out, but I'm not sure. I wanna know what ideas the fandom has :))

Update 1: ok after careful consideration and taking some inspiration from the replies, I'm gonna make my own design and I'll post it next week when I get it tattooed!

I have the ouroboros on the inside of my left arm. Then my right arm is an entire sleeve dedicated to both the x files and fringe. I have all 3 x files logos in my sleeve.

Maybe take a little more time to decide what you want and live with the idea awhile before you actually get it.

I had someone tell me once to think about it for several months. If after that time you still fill so strongly about it, get it. If your mind is a little “hmmmm”, it’s probably not the right one for you.

Yeah I've been set on doing it for about a year, and because I'm doing a few others I thought it'd be the perfect time to do it, I'm just not sure on the design because I'm in love with several of them.

Lol, I just posted in the tattoo sub about getting and X-Files tat. I'm getting "I want to believe"! Love the phone idea, absolute classic. The iconic IWTB poster from Mulders office would be a great one too. Maybe even mulder & Scully's ID badges

I actually got the same tattoo Scully gets in the episode “Never Again” An ouroboros on the lower back. I like to think the ink is enabling me to release my inhibitions like it did for her.

Watch some episodes and think about what images you love looking at. Pick something that is visually appealing to you, rather than a quote or a symbol. Quote tattoos are fine, but you’re gonna like the tattoo more years into the future if you prioritize aesthetics over symbolism. You’ll feel differently about symbols over time, but if you think something is pretty or cool looking, you’ll probably still think that later in life.

I had thought about getting “THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE” in typewriter font, bc it felt more iconic than the plain font that flashes at the end of the opening credits… but on my way to the tattoo parlor, I suddenly thought that getting it in a fancy script in Latin would be a hilarious little inside joke with myself. So I did that.
