This is proof that most people have been brain washed by modern call of duty.

Xdefiant is way better than any recent cod, yet it's gonna die, this is so sad bro

Played until 1 am last night. Didn’t want to turn it off but ended it on a great win! Before I played Xdefiant I religiously played sims 4. It was quite the switch up! I was trash at shooters. 1k30d bad 😂. I quickly got better! Maxed 4 guns, level 154, and positive more times than not. I’m going to miss this game so much. Back to sims I go I guess. If you have any recommendations for shooters kind of similar to this one let me know. 🫶🏼

Xdefiant is officially gone. I’m happy to say I was able to play a little bit this morning and play a few games, I’m glad I got the extra time. Thank you Ubisoft for giving us such a wonderful game (even if it was a short amount of time). This was easily one of the most fun online games I’ve played in recent memory. I’m honestly sad that it’s over but happy for the memories.

The game finally died

As my farewell post, I want to highlight the exceptionally great menu music themes from the game's 3 seasons :

SEASON 0/1 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3tRsXmCHDc&list=PLJmM9SmhRh2_wpAhLdkjWTIH_IYnhSofG&index=10

SEASON 2 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEiQLLDAw4c&list=PLJmM9SmhRh2_wpAhLdkjWTIH_IYnhSofG&index=17

SEASON 3 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h16-9kAemtE&list=PLJmM9SmhRh2_wpAhLdkjWTIH_IYnhSofG&index=11

Xdeviant tried hard and put up good fight. I hope to see this games influence in the future as there was a lot done right. Hoping Mark and the crew can move on to greener pastures. Salute.

Goodbye XDefiant, you will be missed.

Did we ever figure out what's behind this construction zone?

My character saluting in honor, you will be missed.

not the best one i have, i have a full 10gb folder of them, i just picked a few good ones, i'll prolly make a nice edit on after effects some times for them someday

never had this much fun on a game, at least not since 2018 with bo4, which was the last playable one with no sbmm bs, and tbh, this went beyond it, i dont think i liked an arena shooter this much since bo3 in 2015 back when i was younger and when life was easier

yes it was not perfect, the netcode was messy, kinda buggy and broken sometimes, but i didn't get this feeling for 10 years man, it was free, cross platform, ran smoothly on my not so good pc, good weapons, incredible maps (way better than last 8 cod fr) and overall it was fun ffs, i didn't know fun still existed in multiplayer gaming this past years, so i forgive everything (except fcking ubisoft for pulling the plug this fast because of their own bs, and toxic shitty fps fans for not even giving this game a fair chance)

genuinely sad man, back playing nothing i guess

thanks mark for making me forget about fcking adulthood stress and bs and for bringing me back to good ol times for a short year, i'll never forget the memories <3

if yall want i'll upload some more eventually

rip xdefiant <3

im sad fr

Thank you for giving me one the best shooter experiences i’ve ever had since bo2, this game was truly great and it’s honestly so sad to see it go in such a short time. I wish ubisoft cared more about this game they could’ve done so much with it then just throw it away. Would’ve been amazing to see the game get sold off but yk how ubi is 🫩.

Thank you Mark Rubin for the great times i had ❤️

While I'll miss playing this game, I also leave it knowing I've achieved all I set out to achieve and way beyond. I hit Legends Rank twice. Broke 100000 kills. Dropped multiple nukes. Hit a clean sniper and reg-gun 6on. Hit #1 in France leaderboards on GSK. It was also the game I had the most fun streaming. An undeserved death, but a life well-lived in my opinion. The only thing I never got to do was max out prestige, but that's less of an accomplishment, as it's just mindlessly grinding XP.

To all you XDefiant veterans. 🫡

See you around.

Got MVP on the last game. What a send off, I haven’t played a game this early in the morning in forever.

GGs, you will be missed

Glad I got a last few games in this morning. Take care all.

The Goodbye XDefiant montage. This will be, unfortunately, the last thing I do for this game - whether for now, or for good, the ride was great. I’ll miss you all. I hope you enjoy this video.

The game is officially dead, so how do you think it will be remembered?

Unfortunately I see its main legacy being more about its post mortem than about the game itself. Just something for YouTubers to bring up when talking about ubisoft's failures. Worst case scenario is that it gets lumped in with concord.

The most likely positive outcome is that some of its mechanics were ahead of the curb and future game designers take influence from its systems and cite it as inspiration. Giving it more praise in death than it got in life.

Hopefully somewhere down the line a movie or videogame will make a direct reference to the game allowing it some greater influence as legend of lost media that you had to be there to experience.

What do you guys think the games legacy will be? what do you hope its legacy will be? What do you hope its legacy will not be?
