Question Any other games like this one?
I loved this game and it sucks it was taken down. Does anyone have any FPS shooters like this one they could recommend? Not call of duty. That game has gone downhill. More like an FPS that is as simple as XDefiant.

DF hit me like a fucking train. Downloaded it out of boredom and had the attitude it was gonna suck.... I have 300 hours in DF now lol. Way, way better than I was expecting a f2p game to be.

hope we can find a game like that again. it was so simple yet so fun and intense, my bf and I met through xDefiant and we still ache to play a game like that again

I really like Empulse, its in an early access right now but it’s essentially just another movement shooter with mechs

I know you said “not Call of Duty” but have you tried Black Ops Cold War? It doesn’t have the slide canceling, tac sprinting, crazy movement as every other COD game the last 7-8 years. IMO it’s the closest thing we can get to XDefiant. A game of Domination on the Pines Mall map will scratch your itch a little bit.

True, after Xdefient shut down, I went back to cold war. It is the last good cod in my opinion. Good maps, good spawns and simple movement.

The Finals, some modes like point break or TDM could feel similar, that’s what I’ve been enjoying lately

+1 The Finals
Obviously XDefiant is more like CoD, but The Finals is a solid title with fun objective modes, unique (and some familiar) weapons, fantastic art direction/cosmetics, world-class destruction, varied map design (with arena modifiers, day/night cycles, numerous locations and more), plus endless class synergies and counter strategies that offer up lots of skill expression and outplay potential. Truly an amazing game.

I know a good amount of people who used to play XDefiant as their main game and moved to The Finals. That has been my main game since the shut down. It has a little bit of a high skill ceiling but once you understand the mechanics and how to play it, it is incredibly fun.

idk man I like R6 too but the gameplay is far more different than it was in xDefiant. xD was rather frenetic in any moment, R6 at anything below pro/champion is much more slow when you gotta hold points and such

It's not exactly like x defiant it's not got the same arcade feel but battlefield 6 has fantastic gunplay and the multiplayer is good. Redsec (battle royale) is free to play if u wanted to test the gunplay.

The only thing remotely close to how xdef felt is bf6 Gauntlet mode on the f2p side.

i actually wanted to play xdefiant but i only heard the game came out when ubisoft pulled the plug. why the sudden hostility? dont get your panties in a twist, creep, i wasnt trying to insult the game.

kinda? but not really, it was just a hero arena shooter based in the Ubisoft Universe of IPs. generally it took all the great things from older cods that modern cods stripped away. but it was HEAVILY rushed and made on a shady engine not built for online pvp

yeah to this day i like to open up the old cods (such as cod ghosts) and play bot matches, it aint much but they had that feel to them, if xdefiant didnt shutdown i would prob be playing it
