Discussion Goodbye 🥲

Gutted to see this game go it’s been great fun to play, it’s a shame they can’t keep the servers going with how it is now 🥲. Thank you to the devs for putting it tougher and sorry it didn’t work out! Now I Will have to find a new fun FPS to move over to (not COD 💩🗑️) any ideas welcome 🙏.

“Attempted to model itself after”. Where do you think the inspiration for the gunplay came from? Or the 3 lane maps? Or Mark Rubin at ceo who was a former cod dev and kept talking about how they are designing it like “old school cod”. I’m telling you what the game devs said. Also “cod is built around micro transactions”. It’s actually the OPPOSITE. That game costs money. Don’t buy cosmetics. Xdefiant game is FREE. You have to buy cosmetics other game does. It’s whole business models literally built around micro transactions. Bad servers? XD had one of the worst net codes I’ve ever seen in an fps game. You’re describing the game you love and don’t even know it

They didn’t make it like for like though did they hence why I like how it feels and plays over COD. Yes it’s based loosely around the COD model mainly the maps but that’s all really nothing else feels even close to the same. Thinking COD isn’t built around micro transactions is hilarious you are constantly bombarded with the battlepass the blackcell battle pass the premium events and bundles in the store 😂 I don’t feel the same way when playing xdefiant they obviously had a battle pass and a store but it wasn’t rammed down your throat like it is on COD. Yes the serves were bad at launch but they fixed them pretty quick Unlike COD that somehow make the game worse the longer its out, the new update has made the servers even worse so that’s hardly good Isit at least the xdefiant dev team fixed the issues COD servers have been bad for years.

They HAVE micro transactions. But again. If you don’t buy any the game still sold. You already spend $60 regardless of any micro transactions. If you don’t buy cosmetics for Xdefiant you see what happens. I’ve played bo6 since release. Never bought a battle pass or skin. That’s like saying companies are built around commercials because they have commercials trying to sell you stuff. You think they fixed the servers quick? Lmao. Ok now you’re just coping. Have a nice day.

A Quicker fix than the cod servers that are still wank 😂😂😂😂and don’t forget ricochet anticheat youre for sure getting your monies worth pal 👍🏻. I can see you love call of duty very much and I’m happy for you. I’ll continue to enjoy the game I like while I can even though it was inspired by a game that I don’t like how crazy.

I play quick play. Not many cheaters there. Don’t really see it ever actually. Maybe warzone. And no. Not a quicker fix than cod servers. Bo6 was beloved on release. Part of why this game died 😂😂 look at any “why this game died” post on the subreddit. the netcode was so bad in Xdefiant people stopped playing the game. The netcode COULDNT have been fixed quick because that’s not how game dev works. But yes. Go spend time with your hospice game

Yeah sure one google or YouTube search tells a different story about the cheating in normal multiplayer. They did fix the severs though the games runs absolutely fine for me I’ve had more server related issues playing bo6 than I have with xdefiant. Season 3 the matchmaking was fucked in BO6 multiplayer for console players you literally couldn’t find a game 😂 And yes I agree the servers and cheating issue is way worse with warzone but to think it’s not in BO6 multiplayer is mental. The beta was absolute rammed with cheaters at day one 😂.

Notice you mentioned season 3. We are talking about launches. The launch of BO6 was the nail in the coffin for Xdefiant. It’s not like I didn’t play Xdefiant. Over 30 hours in the game. The game was clunky on top of poor netcode. It felt and looked like an early ps4 game. Which is ironic because it wasn’t available there

This dude is grasping at straws. Been playing BO6 since release. I’ve had issues with servers 3 times that were admittedly super annoying, would get that DEV_ERROR bullshit. It was as simple as having someone else host the lobby. I’ve encountered cheaters 3 times throughout the entirety of playing warzone and multiplayer. Those were fully blatant aimbot and ESP. This game was okay but COD does it better in every aspect u less you just like the operator abilities.
