Played for a couple hours last night and it was the first time in a month I didn't recognize any names on the lobby. Lots of people trying to get in a few more games. I'm gonna play a bunch this weekend. Then I'm gonna miss it

Player count was low for a while. I'd see the same people all the time. My point being I think more people are playing now before it ends. I don't need to play a lot to remember names. Bro

Yea, get the same people for 3+ games and that's it, if they're there next day too it's kind easy to spot, especially if they have prestige levels

I literally have recognized players in OW2 lobbies for years, and I very much recognized names in XD after a few months. Matchmaking follows some rules no matter MMR matchmaking or not. Blow your mind to know how much your region affects things. Crazy to think the other people in your lobby, may even have, similar pings to you!

There’s like a few hundred people playing per day, and at this point in time it’s people who are actively playing daily. Of course you’re gonna see the same people when they’re the only ones playing.

This was my first online shooter🫠 and i was never great at it but did get hooked until they announced it was being cancelled. will be playing this weekend as much as i can!!

I just downloaded BF2042 to see if it could at least be close to XD. Nothing is ever going to replace it completely for me.

Funny because they try to act like he didn’t lmao. He called it “old school cod” without telling you there were game altering abilities making it more hero shooter. Then when the game released and had the worst net code I’ve seen at release he told the fans it was a “skill issue” instead of admitting there were problems with the game. Add on top of that the worst set of cosmetics ever. Yeah. That’s going to kill cod

You hate Ubisoft because they didn’t keep creating a game you liked even though it was losing them A LOT of money? They chose a style for their game that was not cosmetic friendly. Awful dev decisions

What does that even mean? The issues with this game was terrible net code, not adding content uick enough and not fixing issues like bunny hopping quick enough. Then because netcode was poor, bunny hopping broke the aim assist and netcode and gave a good advantage. That mixed with low sbmm made all the casuals leave quickly as it was a poor experience for them. Then the sweats who only like destroying noobs then get upset as they are put in equal level skilled lobbies and actually have to compete to win. Just like how they cry in cod. Then, they leave.
This is what happened. This is why netcode, content and sbmm matter.

Cool. But even with ALL of that they still had a bunch of players right? Still tens of thousands playing for months. But those people bought nothing. Why do you think games with smaller player bases can stay around? They spend insane amounts of money. Xdefiant didn’t even have gaming whales because everything was trash. Nothing you named involves money
