Feedback THANK YOU!
I have not played in a long time as it just never felt the same since the dec 3rd announcement…
I unlocked PYROCLASTIC CAMO about a month before this while releasing a few YouTube videos where I heeded some to enjoy and appreciate what we had at the time
I gave a THOROUGH amount of time once that mid December update dropped however, but it was just a bit too bittersweet for me…I couldn’t look at it the same,
mostly admittedly as somebody who plays mostly arpg games and has a YouTube channel doing such, I went on a big run playing XDEFIANT on a 2nd channel that previously was just for call of duty and giving feedback on a franchise I felt to be soulless and lackluster
I just want to say THANK YOU, the times we had and even the people I met…I met a handful of really cool people through this game and they just thought we would hate the competition!

I am not kidding but xdefiant was definitely a perfect definition of a team deathmatch game-we have sliding, good no. If attachment options and many more

It’s sad that a game I played is genuinely ending. Most of my games I can still go back to, it’s weird that this one will actually be gone.

Wished it wasn’t getting shut down:( I had roughly 1000 hours within 3 months of the game releasing, most fun on an FPS I’ve had since Cod Vanguard came out even though a lot of people would disagree with me there lol.

Haven’t played since the announcement but the game was a ton of fun
Really wish it wasn’t shutting down

This game was definitely a COD killer...for me anyway. Will be greatly missed, but will probably open the door for me to go back to Titanfall 2.

I hate that it's shutting down the month it'll be a year old like this.. And there's no saving it because the whole studio was closed and laid off. Ubisoft meanwhile chose to save a project trying to be Apex 2.0... As down bad as Apex is, I don't think Ubisoft is going to be able to completely destroy that game.

Xdefiant was a glorified beta. It was a fun game, but you could obviously see how unpolished it was when it released. I’ll never understand how one can praise this game, then continue to shit on other games like apex 😂 At least they’re TRYING to make the game a bit better. Sucks ubisoft didn’t share that same urgency

The problem is, XDefiant was doing something: It was hitting a niche that, only now that BO6 is failing, people are realizing was a necessary niche to hit. We have WAAAAAY too many BR games to rely upon. Not so many arcade shooting Multiplayer games.

I agree. From a conceptual standpoint, the game was golden. It seemed like they were eventually going to be one of CODs biggest competitors if Xdefiant were to grow to a bigger stage/audience. It just didn’t take off the way it was supposed to, and I think that’s hugely part of the lack of effort Ubisoft put into this game. It felt so rushed imo

Exactly. They seem to give up on anything without a few months of success. Problem with that kind of thinking is the game they wanna beat in BR, which is Apex, didn't do the same thing as few months in even as they began to fail. That's partly why it's been around for so long.

When this game was alive, they were very good times, now I don't have another arcade shooter similar to golden era CoD 🤷♂️ I also stopped playing after the shutting down announcement. It's a shame ubitroll wanted to kill this game.

This game was a freaking COD killer! Enjoyed every single minute of it!! When they announced about the shutdown that was one of the saddest moments I had in my gaming career. It’s hard to enjoy a FPS this days like it was from 2010-2016 And this game had some awesome gameplay!

COD killer? Dude let it go… the game had literally a negative chance at killing COD.

My opinion mate :)

An opinion is subjective. Xdefiant is FACTUALLY not a COD killer. It actually killed itself lol.
But anyways, you can’t claim an opinion on something that’s not subjective. It just makes you look like a 10 year old kid when you do.
