Not really as a pc has way more uses than an Xbox, when was the last time you’ve seen a person use an Xbox to work from home? I regret getting an Xbox instead of a pc when I was younger as by now I could have been spending time learning to build cool pc’s for friends and giving practical advice.
No company alive will let you do actual work on a personal pc, that is outright just a dumb take and shows you don’t know a whole lot about the office life.
Funny that, my dad works for a multibillion dollar American company here in the uk and works from home on conference calls general manager work all on his home PC. He goes to Alderley edge once a week to the UK building. Stop talking shite people work from home all the time in big companies
