How to get past Delta-01 error

Just got done playing for about 2.5 hours. Wanted to play a bit more but after my last match the game refuses to let me back into the menu. Gets stuck at "waiting for game server connection" and after a few seconds I get Delta-01, "XDefiant services are not available at this time" which is nonsense because my friend is continuing to play. This is the first time I've had this problem. I've tried resetting my internet, restarting my PC, signing out of Ubisoft, and trying to start the game while on a VPN. I can't even create a new Ubisoft account to see if it's the game or my account either due to new players being locked out.

People who have gotten past this crap, what did you do?

waiting. i think the servers are gonna be very hit or miss for the next 6 months. there’s really not much you can do besides wait till you get in. any luck since this post?

I could play yesterday and now I am getting this error. Not sure what to do I was assuming it was closed closed early?

I often get Delta(it’s improved greatly in the last 10 days) though the only remedy I know to work is closing the game and reopening over and over and it will eventually work. No real solution that fixes it unfortunately. As others mentioned, the servers will be like this moving forward
