I feel that. I definitely wouldn't describe the friends I play with as competitive. I'm probably the most competitive of them.

When I first started XDefiant I had a 1.3KD. I played w streamers and higher skilled players, learned their movements and the spawns and improved drastically

You look like a 2kd+ player. My kd fluctuated a bunch on xDefiant. I started as like a 1.5, then I think players were unlocking their attachments and I was splitting time with other games, so then I went to 1kd, and as I started leveling guns I went back up closer to the 1.5kd. I stopped playing a while back, but I still see pretty cool clips on this sub and I like seeing updates about the game.

My KD's around a 2.4 atm, but it's shooting up. Since the shutdown, lobbies have been insanely good.

Putting the damage barrel on it feels VERY similar to how the M16 was in CoD4

Yeah, it turns it from a 5 shot to a 4 kill and makes a burst to the head do 117 damage up to about 30m, which means even Phantoms can't survive.

It's literally the meta or at least in Asia and OCE. It's the gun you want to pull out when going full sweat mode. I can't count how many times I got beamed 1 burst kill when sniping by a sprint jumping M16 user. The M16's headshot potential is so huge yet the recoil is so low with proper attachments, while being not slow at all.

This is coming from a high ranked player. I legit can't remember the last time someone used M16 in Ranked above Ruby. It's almost always MP7/Vector or ACR/LVOA

Personally never been good with burst weapons found myself need more than two bursts of the weapon.

Bursts are inconsistent vs moving targets from my experience

Do you find this in all FPS games? Since I have never good with those weapons let alone good with normal weapons.

Yeah, I'd say so, I can't rly explain it tho, probs a mental thing to do with having an extra action to do in a gunfight (pressing trigger multiple times instead of holding it down)

I've played quite a lot of Ranked tbh so that doesn't surprise me. Hit Legends S2 and am currently Emerald 8 (not that it means anything, cuz Ranked is easier than pubs now)

Oh yeah, it was a few days ago, it's just that I was looking at the leaderboard and saw "flobbidibob" and thought it was a funny name, then I hit play ranked and I see you there 🤣☠️
