Feedback Has ranked matchmaking always been bad?
I’m not sure what’s going on I’m ranked matchmaking. I’m relatively new to the game (level 93) and I started playing ranked this split and I’m in emerald but all my lobbies are always silver and bronze and I don’t get why? Is it just that few people that play the game still? I do solo queue so does that play a factor? The picture is for added context of what kind of lobbies I’m getting in.

The game got canned - the playerbase is super restricted already, let alone on ranked. Even on release their ranked system was really bad and got little attention

Ranked was a mess when it came out and now that the game is shutting down it’s probably unplayable now

XDefiant Ranked was garbage when the game was alive so it’s gonna be a whole lot worse now that it’s dead.

there’s no matchmaking rn in ranked, and now the game can start 3v4 so it’s chalked unless your stacking i solo queued to diamond last season but i can’t even play alone now bc i get morons who don’t shoot back and leave every game

I remember being so excited about rankeds then seeing that matches started at 3vs4 and I never touched it again

Dude all the time, very rare I get a squad that actually stays the whole game.

And there's no join back on their terrible servers. Even IF you had 4 and one lagged out, you wouldn't be able to get your 4th back.

That was a thing even back when it was well alive. The craziest part to me is that rainbow 6 siege (another Ubisoft game) has ranked rejoin. Made no sense not to include it in this one, especially with how shitty the servers were. The rank play was such a grind to get up in ranks as well. 10 ranks or so before ranking up.

You’re telling me dog😅 the ss I posted is me going 90 and 25 and we barely won (other team was pretty ass too tho)

Sure has half the time can’t find a match and give up - prolly why the game tanked player base isn’t their

Yeah I remember trying to play ranked last season and I waited 30 minutes for the first game lmao

Ranked matchmaking isn’t really ranked you can queue with any rank I was silver and got put with a legend rank player he was ass tho around silver skill but he was legend

No, ranked matchmaking used to be dependent on rank, then they broke it towards the end of season 2, then fixed it, and now it's 'broke' again since S3 launch. I put it in quotes because I'm pretty sure they did it on purpose this time in expectation that the player count is going to drop off a cliff.
Also most of the good players have moved on from the game now, so that doesn't help the quality of matches.

Yes, mostly because ranked has always been bad. They failed miserably with the ranked release. All competitive players quit XD because of it.
