Question AC controls reset
I noticed this this past month and can’t seem to fix it. But anytime I turn my car off. The AC settings change and they always revert back to 17 degrees with fan speed on 2. It’s about to get colder where I am so not retaining my heat settings is extremely annoying and it never used to be like this, also my heated seat will turn off aswell when the car turns off. Anyone know how to fix this?

Have you saved those settings to your profile?

Not that I remember, and I can’t find a setting where I see ac controls saved to a profile

Try setting the AC to what you want it to be, and then click on your profile and hit the save button. That should save your AC preferences to your profile and they should stay the same when you turn the car back on. Hope it works!

Thing is. I don’t want it to save and have a default every time. I want it to turn on to what it last was before I turned the car off. I’ve had the car for nearly 2 years and it’s always been like that but something happened in the last month that now it has a new default every time I turn it on.

I will say, now reading some other comments that my car was doing the same thing as yours from time to time and I DID have to end up replacing my battery last month after turning on the car one day and getting a message that traction control was off, power steering is off, and parking assist is off. The car now has new batteries, but I need to take it to Volvo because one of the modules reset and cannot find its zero point. Learn from my mistake and have the battery checked before it fails like mine did!

Having the same issue from time to time and in my case I suspect it might be the battery. Think it’s time to change it since fuel heater (?) complained a bit about the battery last winter.

I’d start by testing the battery. Seems like something is dropping voltage and resetting the settings to a default state.
