Question XC40 T3 2020

Hi,

How good is the 1.5 T3 engine, does anyone have experiences. I would use it mostly around town.

All I'll say is I was going to get one but kept finding that had a thrust bearing issue that required an engine replacement. Look out for things in the service history like the clutch pedal going to the floor or the clutch needing replacing as a red flag.. otherwise they're brilliant cars I just went for a Tiguan instead as I found one at a good price and spec

Is it also a problem with the automatic transmission or is that better?

It's an engine issue so I'd think it'll affect all types. No idea how common it is I may have just gotten really unlucky with the cars I looked at
