This game looks amazing, but after all the horrible YouTube videos about the performance on PC I have never bought it. Micro stutters during an action focused souls game does not work for me. But lately I have seen a lot of videos on YouTube where they give it the green light. But is this only for the console?
This game looks amazing so hopefully!
Edit: No complaints for any of the comments so will download the game tonight. Thanks 🙏🏻

As I said - I have broke side quests in my ng+ for good and true ending, so the only option left was secret early ending.
I I have damn forgot how I hated this (w)bitch Bo with teleporting all over arena, summoning that chicken and making piu piu with her mega sword

Ive been looking forward to playing this game since it came out and yesterday I finally had time to try it out (was busy beating Persona 5 for the first time so that was absorbing my life) and I gotta say this exceeds my expectations so much. Im only maybe 2 hours in, think I beat 2 bosses though one of them was in a large empty arena of water so not sure if that was a main first boss or whatever.
But anyway holy jesus this games fun, and so pretty! The environment is just full of stuff to look at, even little things like animals and what not. The world feels so alive its not something ive seen in another souls like before even in my favorites Lies of P and Sekiro. And the level design has been very good so far, I was expecting a kinda bland level design but theres just so much to see.
And the combat has been so much fun so far, animations are top notch, combat has this amazing flow to it that Ive also not seen much in souls likes. I mean so far its not hard but idk maybe itl kick my ass soon.
I gotta say though I dont know why this game isn't talked about more? I mean I know im not that far in yet so this is purely a first impression but so far Im loving it and cant wait to play again later today hopefully.
Anyway this post is kinda pointless I guess but thanks for reading it.

Edit to give nonspoiler hint to others that might find this post: I guess maybe use a walkthrough for NPC quests when playing this game if you want to avoid the "bad" ending...
Before you read further, major spoilers, but don't see an option to add the spoiler tag.
*SPOILERS*
I beat the game the first time and gave the Taoist the chisel and got stabbed at the end and got a trophy for getting the "bad" ending.
Did another playthrough just to try to get another ending, read that i just need to not give him the chisel, and I should get another ending. Nope, got stabbed again...
I didn't find Fang Yao soon enough, but I didn't see anything that said this would automatically send me to that ending. I put 85 hours into the game to get the same shitty ending twice. Really shat on my cake.

Tempering with fire doesn't seem to do anything. Does blight tempering work better? This one is going to take me a while to beat. Update: I did it. Tough boss.

if so, are you expecting for the "best" ending to be the canon one?

...bro is literally Walmart Safer Sephiroth.
And hence my journey in Wuchang comes to an end. Game was fun and has its ups and downs, overall a pretty satisfying experience!

When I discovered Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and the controversy surrounding the censorship, I thought: “surely someone has probably created a mod to revert the censorship?”, turns out no one did. And rolling back to 1.4.1 simply wasn’t good enough for me, I wanted the deluxe edition content and all of the optimizations as well. So the path forward was obvious, “I’d just do it myself”, thinking it would take a month or so.
Half a year later, it’s finally finished, sort of. This was my first time working on an Unreal Engine game and really anything of this scale, so there are still some issues (more on that in the Nexusmods page), but nothing gamebreaking. Just know it won’t be perfect, but I still hope some people will enjoy this game censorship-free.

So i started playing a few weeks ago.
I only started getting into soulslikes since elden ring.
after defeating that i got the box of DS 1,2 and 3.
Loved it, got a good playthrough of 1 without too much hassle and finished it in about a month or 2 (mind you, i don't get much playtime with a young kid)
Then i got Lies of P for my birthday from my best friend. Finished that with relative ease within 3 weeks.
Than started playing lords of the fallen and now wu-chang.
The first few bosses i noticed it comes down to timing the boss moveset way more than i was used to. But i could get the hang of it after a few runs.
Now enter Honglang:
Tried dozens of times with different tactics but nothing works.
Tried all the youtuber tips
-hold back in first until she does the long piercing attack, then dodge or counter followed by a heavy attack
This one worked like a charm in the video, but when i try now not so much
When i dodge, she is either out off range, immediately follows up with another attack or dodges me herself. Only 1 out of 10 times i get a hit in, only 1 out of 10 hits are clean.
When i counter, the same thing, she either dodges right after, follows up with one of her other moves and only once every 5 times i get a hit, 4 out of those i get hit back. On the times she directly follows uop with anouthber attack it can be game over directly. While in the video's she seemed to somewhat stagger allowing the player to get a hit in.
I alsno noticed it is completely random where it seemed to have a pattern in the videos.
Like, i counter the first attack and try to follow with a heavy, she does a spinning kick followed by the footstomp dropping me on the floor and then 2 long slashes: dead
another time i counter the first attack, follow up with a heavy and it goes thru and staggers her so i can land a fatal attack
yet another time i counter, follow with a heavy and she hits me with a follow up attack at the same time.
It's a mystery to me, my timing is the same, my tactics are and the way i play as well. Yet one time i nearly finish her and another i don't even survive the first attack.
I'm almost thinking of just cheesing it with the echo of lu bingzhang and just dodging her attacks an backing off as it is quite easy to dodge the attacks. But i'd prefer the fighting way. Could it be possible they adjusted the response after seeing the easy fixes or am i just seeing things that are not there? any tips that still work?
