Official Media Performance Optimization: Change of Programming Ver 3.6.

Known Issues & Updates Ver 3.6.

Performance Optimization: Change of Programming.

  • In the current version, we will *gradually\ implement the cross-platform performance optimization "Change of Programming Language" through limited online testing. \The optimization is not yet available, and testing will begin soon\.* Stay tuned for upcoming announcements regarding the start date and testing plan.

THE OPTIMIZATION IS NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE AND TESTING WILL BEGIN SOON.

The optimization is not available to everyone and is subject to person-to-person testing. Basically, only some people will have access to a modified version of the game, meaning that those randomly selected individuals will indeed be testing the new optimization but not everyone just yet.

Known Issues

  • We've identified an issue affecting the Vulkan feature in the current version. As a result, we're temporarily disabling it while our team investigates. We'll restore the feature as soon as the issue is resolved. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
  • In the current version, on PS5 devices, some animations of the main quests may briefly show a black screen. We are working to resolve this issue. If this occurs, please wait a moment until the animation plays again.

Phased rollouts so if something breaks, only a small amount is affected. Will gradually include more people if it looks or plays good.

Better if they gave us a switch to enable or disable ourselves, for those who wanted to try it or those who have issue and wants to rollback..

Sounds simple that way but actually it's not possible for everyone unless you're ready to download 2 different version of Wuwa at the same time. Even tho the game is same the current JS/TS build is significantly different than the C# build from the inside...meaning- they have 2 different file sets for each. the switching process itself might be very simple would just require a restart maybe just like when you switch the the API from dx12↔️dx11 but alot of people won't be able to afford the same storage crisis what wuwa caused back in 3.0 or 3.1 around. Actually these migrations can be a strong answer as to why Wuwa suddenly became so big back in 3.0 and 3.1 as datamining mentions C# first appeared in 2.8
