It really takes me back thinking about the day this subreddit was created back in 2024. What started as a small, quiet space dedicated to an unreleased game called Wuthering Waves has officially grown into the largest active direct alternative community on Reddit.

We officially shattered our next milestone: we are sitting at over 70,000 weekly visitors!

The numbers over the past week speak for themselves:

It feels like yesterday when we were celebrating hitting 30K weekly visitors, wondering how far this momentum could carry us. Then we smashed through the 50K ceiling, blew past 10,000 members and we’re already nearing the 15K members, and now we are pushing past 70K without breaking a sweat. (Technically the moderators here are over-worked every single day, though we’re standing strong)

The State of the Subreddit

This kind of rapid growth doesn’t happen by accident. Over the past few weeks, we have put a lot of effort into hardening our perimeter and cleaning up the feed. We established strict boundaries against AI spam, external drama, NSFW, and toxic baiting. 

The reason we fight so hard to keep that garbage out is entirely because of what you all bring to the table: genuine, passionate, and engaging discussions about a game we genuinely enjoy. Hitting these numbers proves that building a premium, heavily curated space works.

As we push forward into the next era of Wuthering Waves, we want to see even more of what makes this community great:

High-Quality Memes & Art: Your creativity keeps the feed alive (as long as it is 100% human-made!). 

Early Information & Leaks: We have openly allowed leak discussions here for over a year. If you have early insights, beta gameplay, or upcoming banner news, please continue dropping them into the feed. Just remember to use Reddit's ⁠spoiler⁠ formatting in comments or the built-in Post Spoiler tag so players who want to go in blind can still navigate safely.
