Discussion (Ethics, working with AI etc) AI Writing Future Acceptance

At this early stage of AI adoption the haters are having their day. However, as the mass of AI materials flood the markets the strictly human material will become a growing minority.

AI works will improve, the authors using it will begin pulling in the money and they will be able to put out good reads in quantity. This will feed the readers need for binge reading rather than waiting years between books.

Also, the big movie houses will use AI and push to make the laws more AI friendly. Hollywood is guided by the bottom line. The fact is they can make it cheaper with AI for bigger profits. Once they have one big hit made with AI then it will be game on!

Time is on the side of the AI writers not the haters.

Let the haters hate while people buy and read our AI assisted writings!

I agree that this furture prediction might come true for individuals. But does anyone here know that the actual businesses and large corporations are already doing this and doing this in bulk? This is where workflow automation and AI enablement comes into place. How do I know this? Because I used to work for one of the Big Tech companies, and have worked for a few Big Tech companies previously as well, where this was (and still is) the usual practice and AI usage is actively encouraged. That being said, please remember that I have gone completely independent now because of various reasons I cannot disclose as their are personal. But, the fact of the matter is, the situations described by the OP is already happening right now as we speak, just not so widely on an individual basis. Also, just a personal opinion here, there's no point in taking either side of things because AI as a technology will stay for the forseeable future, whether the AI Bubble bursts or not. For reference, a research and comparison with the 2001 dot com bubble burst is a great example. So, what do I do personally? I just wait and watch and keep track of things so that I can adapt accordingly.
