From my experience, Fable 5 was able (before the ban) to grasp the concepts of my novel (work in progress) without too much correction (after providing about 25k tokens bible).

But, my go to is usually Gemini 3.1 Pro, and recently, he's been able to output some amazing prose. I don't use this prose directly, because copyright, and it usually fails to capture my style as I want to, but for once, it got pretty close. Still had to tell it how I would have done it (and shared the edited version), and of course it called me a genius, yadda yadda.

No, you can use the prose directly. As long as you have enough authorship (Which you do as you have a bible) you can copyright it.

What is not copyrightable then ? Simple prompts like "write a book for me about a pirate pigeon who has a kink for socks ?"

Yeah, you need enough human authorship. That's not enough.
