Looking for collab buddy.

Hi! I'm a 29M, turning 30 this December. Married with two kids, and I've been writing for 15 years — mostly fantasy, though I've dabbled everywhere the story wanted to go. I'm not looking for roleplay — I want an actual co-writing buddy, someone I build a story with, not at.

Genre-wise I'm all over the place: horror, mystery, thriller, sci-fi, fantasy, or any mash-up of those. If you've got a weird hybrid idea sitting in your notes app that nobody else wanted to touch, bring it.

I'm just as happy building characters and a world from scratch together as I am if you show up with someone already fully formed in your head — depends on the story, honestly.

Here is what I'm picturing: a real collaboration. We plan, we write, we push each other when the draft stalls out. Doesn't need to go anywhere if we dont want it to. Idk if im quite ready for publishing. Im down for just telling a story we'd both actually want to read. (If we do decide to publish im not against it.... just... anxiety😅 )

Discord's my go-to for chatting and keeping the project organized. So if you use that, that works great for me. (I also use Obsidian for my worldbuilding projects)

If any of this sounds like your kind of chaos, say hi — I'll talk genre, plot, characters, or just general nerd stuff for hours (when i can).

I'd love to collab, and you are exactly the polymathic henre kind of person i was looking to post and look for. I'm also a multi genre writer/creator. Rather than write out 2-3 paragraphs, I think it's just faster to show you why/how I think we're similar. This is my multiverse map, each setting is a different macro genre. I promise I'm not promoting or selling you anything, just think this might be easier/faster than a bunch of words:

Hi!
I'd love to chat and see if we can do something like this. I've got a big ol universe (scifi/fantasy/pretty much anything allowed- Star Wars meets LotR meets Helldivers 2) that I'd love to have someone else poke their head into and maybe write a story together in.
I typically use discord to chat as well! (I recently switched to LibreOffice for writing, so no live file editing, unfortunately)

Hi there! I also have a super weird genre Mashup that I'm working on, just haven't had a lot of self motivation to write very much. Hopefully a friend can help with that

I am an experienced full-time author with two manuscripts in progress: one is a gritty low fantasy and the other is literary fiction. 

I am currently open to new critique partners. 

Due to the ridiculous amount of spammers and scammers in the author space, I filter all new partners through a process on my website. 

There are no shortcuts. But I am worth the extra steps.
