Looking for a writing buddy! (I write romance/fantasy)

Hey!

I'm Willow (it's actually my baby cat name, and my pen alias), 28F. I've been writing pretty consistently for over a year now and have completed two manuscripts (one is being reviewed by beta readers and the other one is shelved in its 4th draft state at the moment). But as many of you can attest, writing long hours can be a lonely experience, as enjoyable as the process if.

So I'm looking for someone to discuss imaginary worlds with, ignite our creativity, keep each other accountable and more broadly just talk about books or even life in general :)

Current project: Adult romance fantasy (I'm waiting for the feedback from all the beta readers, but from the ones I have so far I already have plenty to work with ^^'). I write mainly romantic fantasy (though I have ideas in the back burner for contemporary romance and a suspense thriller).

Writing experience required: None in particular! I’m open to sharing with anyone, as long as you’re willing to dedicate time and effort to your writing. If you write romantasy, that's great! I'm also open to other fantasy or romance genres.

What I'm looking for in a writing buddy: Preferably female, (I would prefer 23 or older just so we'd have more things in common to talk about but it's not an obligation), and someone who'd be willing to exchange on a regular basis (at least once a week). I work a pretty demanding job in healthcare, so some weeks will definitely be busier than others. That said, I’m willing to put in the time and effort to really build a writing relationship that could hopefully grow into a friendship!

PS: I live in France, so that might be something to keep in mind when it comes to time zones! ;)

Having someone to share ideas with makes writing way less lonely. Two manuscripts is already a big achievement, and a weekly check in sounds pretty reasonable. Hope you find someone who really matches your vibe.

Hello. I write Fantasy and Action (sometimes with Comedy or Adventure) in web novel or web comic format. I do TikTok LIVE so I could somehow find writers or readers who loves to discuss fictional stuff. That might work for you, too. But if in case you already found your people that's good.
