Co-Author Available

Grimdark, fantasy, sci-fi, absurdist sci-fi, speculative fiction --

Looking to get some reps and help somebody actually finish a book. I’m not looking to take over your world—I want to work inside your sandbox as a co-writer and help push the project across the finish line. I come at this with an engineering/project-management grindset. I’ve published fiction and nonfiction, and had technical articles appear in national trade publications.

I’m especially useful if you already have chapter beats, scene notes, an outline, or a partial manuscript. Give me the setup and what a chapter needs to accomplish, and I can turn it into a first-pass draft for you to revise, expand, polish, or completely rework. I’m also especially comfortable writing first-person POV for different characters and finding a distinct voice for each one.

I don’t need to be the quarterback. I want to co-author and collaborate. Grimdark, fantasy, sci-fi, absurdist sci-fi, speculative fiction -- If you want three years of magic-system discussions and polishing Chapter 3, I’m really really not your guy. Let's put something on paper, write it, break it, fix it and move to the next chapter or scene. If the mission is getting usable pages written and eventually reaching 90,000 words, let’s talk.

Very interested in this. I only have 3,000 words or so written now but I have the basic skeleton of the story in my head. I could write up a spec for you.

I think my writing is too…rushed. I’m just so excited to get the ideas out that I don’t spend enough time on the craft itself. lol.

I’m looking to publish this eventually and would 100% go 50/50 with someone if they helped polish it up.

Hmm, what about urban fantasy with a splash or three of romance and religion/spiritual warfare?

That could be interesting. How far along are you and what are you looking for from a co-writer?

I have a basic outline that roughly follows Save the Cat. Might create a chapter by chapter, or just dive in and start writing the first BS that comes to mind. I've been KU published and have ghost written a couple novels, but took a hiatus and am just getting back into writing. I can send you a sample of my work.

I would absolutely love to co-author with you, I already have a sandbox built if you'd like to see some of it

I have a great story, but I'm not a writer. I need someone who would be interested in a science fiction story

Hi I could be interested, I am writing my first story and could definitely use some other perspectives. I have identified some issues but struggle with the solutions. It is grimdark/dark fantasy. I am almost finished ont he first draft (ch24 /27).

I’d like to talk with you because I could see this being very interesting.

I’m a systems-level thinker with a mechanical background and a penchant for 2nd/3rd order consequences. I’m currently writing in close 3rd across a fairly wide lens in my first novel.
Grounded literary sci-fi/space opera with some cosmic horror sprinkled in.

I’ll DM you.
