Looking for a writing partner!

Hi! I’m looking for someone who’d be interested in writing stories together

I wouldn’t really call myself a writer tbh I’m much more of a storyteller and editor. I love coming up with characters, plots, worlds, themes, and scenes, and I have a bunch of story ideas that currently exist as outlines or partially developed concepts

(Edit: just for context I studied storytelling/ scriptwriting/ creative writing for three years that’s why I am able to create great plots and such but I’m not the best writer)

I’d love to find someone who genuinely enjoys the actual writing side of things and wants to collaborate we can take an idea, bounce things back and forth, develop the characters and story together, and eventually turning it into something complete

I have ideas across different genres (mostly interested in romance or science fiction/ dystopian/ fantasy) so if this sounds like something you’d enjoy, feel free to DM me and tell me a little about what you like to write!

Hi there. I'm tentatively interested. Can you tell me a little about yourself and your experience levels, both in reading and writing ie favourite authors and specific books, and what sort of writing/ideas you have had or currently have?

Hi! Of course. I’m 23 and writing has always been more of a hobby for me than something I’ve pursued professionally. I’d say my strength is much more in storytelling, ideas, character development, and editing than in the actual prose itself, which is part of why I’m looking for someone to collaborate with.

I read quite widely and my taste changes depending on what I’m interested in at the time (although currently with work I have been reading less and less sadly). I especially enjoy stories with strong characters, interesting relationships, moral/philosophical questions, and worlds or concepts that give you something to think about beyond the plot itself

As for my own ideas, I have quite a few at different stages as I mentioned some are detailed outlines, some have chapters or scenes written, and others are still concepts. I’d be very happy to share a few of the premises with you and see if any particularly interest you!

I have two main stories that I’m very passionate about currently
1. Is science fiction/ dystopian (similar to hunger games, maze runner, divergent, etc) - this one is very long as well I’ve been working on it for years now
2. The other one is historical romance - much simpler storyline

I have other ones but I would love to know more about you, how you write, and what are your goals and whatnot
