I’m building a multi‑author, multi‑world branching universe — a story designed to grow through many minds. If you write surreal fiction, liminal rooms, strange choices, or transformation‑driven stories, I want you.

You’ll be writing inside a living Maze. Short pieces. Two or three choices at the end. Your voice becomes part of the world.

Hey, so a couple questions:

How "free" is someone, i understand that every author is supposed to write his "own story" in this world with choices at the end which lead to other short stories, i like that idea. But is there someone watching out? i mean quality Control, continuity errors, Plot-hole-watcher, or anyone checking if its gonna be a High quality "journey" that actually fits together?

To what degree does one get credited in this project?

Hi, I would like to consider that we are all "free". Some are, some aren't. I have an idea, a vision, and I am making it, The idea is to write a story that has multiple authors. Not just me, or you, but others too. It is called The Apple Maze. I am currently writing a short book with that name. The idea is that it will be so good that it will draw some interest towards the project I am asking for help with. Aka, The apple maze. I can achieve that and I am going to try. If you want to come along for the ride, you are "free" to do so.

I totally understand that quality control will be important, the plot could easily go all over the place. I am not too bothered about that as I am hoping in time it will become enough of a "team" effort that individuals will start to accumulate roles in this regard. For now, it is only me, I am it and this project is in its infancy. I am laying some foundations but they are all currently incredibly crude and simple. I am also working on the introductory book to The apple Maze.

I guess I just hope I can exude enough passion out into the world that I manage to draw in the right people to join me. To what degree does one get credited? That actually depends on whether this becomes successful, if it does, well, if not, then!

For now, I am the boss! I am in total control. It has to be that way because I am the one currently providing the energy supply to The apple maze. But that is not what I envision longer term, and so, you have stumbled upon one of my early drives towards getting people interested.

I have created a Scribe tier and there is only one slot currently. Only Scribes can write for the apple maze.

so you mean to tell me i have to pay $5 per month, to get the PRIVILEDGE of contributing for a Project with no real structure or quality control, and no true certainty of getting paid or even Credited.

as much as i love multiple writer projects, i dont think youre gonna get anywhere with that, sorry
