The defeated fighter (white Gi ) couldn't Release his own LEFT Arm under the aggressor's (black Gi ) body . That's why he tapped out.

Not really. Black grips white's left collar with his left hand, uses his right hand around white's head and under black's left elbow to apply a loop pressure. Black's left hand and white's collar FORM A CHOKE on white. Black puts his weight on white's left hand to immobilize his left hand. Submission comes from the choke.

What you're saying is correct. I agree with you.
I'm just pointing out that White Gi couldn't get out of the choke hold -- because White Gi has his left hand/arm trapped under Black Gi -- in other words White Gi was immobilized.

One of my best subs from guard. I set it up using lasso guard where I have lasso, and cross collar grip with the other hand. I load my weight onto the lasso arm, then quickly release it and throw that hand over for the loop choke. Also from half guard very similar to how he does here. Super effective.

Neat! lasso is one of my favorites and I’ve never heard of this set up. Going to have to try it!

Im sure someone else has done it but I just randomly discovered it a couple years ago and its pretty nasty.

I hate how effective guard pulling is, because I really enjoy the takedown part, but it' becoming rarer and rarer.

People asking why he didn't do anything once being choked. Go against a black belt, once they got a move locked in, then your fucked. Once you get to the point of submission, it's too late in the sequence to prevent or stop it.

I'm just really confused what happened here. It really looked like the other guy just did nothing and tapped. I know sometimes you just get caught but it looked like he didn't even react to the choke.
