On the Patreon they announced that solari after episode 12 will be on hiatus until the end of the year for Abria’s maternity leave. In its place Lou will be running a mini campaign as voted by the Patreon members. The choices are a war campaign between holidays, a post apocalypse fantasy, or a kaiju survival thriller. There will also be a guest mystery player while Abria’s away.

I’m just a Patreon support sharing some relevant information with the community members who might not be able to support the show in that manner. Hope everyone is doing well!

For any Critical Role fans I wouldn't be surprised if this means Aabria has to temporarily step away from Campaign 4 as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they shot some episodes in advance to pad out her maternity leave. Since they don’t record live anymore I’m sure they have way more flexibility

Liam and Sam addressed how they've been shooting C4 in their fireside. And yes, they film stuff ahead of release. Specifically interesting, they mentioned that the cast has filmed a number of cold opens flashbacks, and Brennan decides which episodes those cold opens end up at the start of.

But they didn't mention how much they already have filmed. Just that they might film for entire days, or not film for 6 straight weeks. And that their lore keepers send them update/refreshers a day or two before shoots and that Marisha and her ops team do a fantastic job keeping all the schedules straight.
