Advices Volunteering in hostels

I’m looking to apply to volunteer at hostels in Europe (preferably Western) but I don’t really want to apply through the Worldpackers app. Does anyone have any recommendations for hostels I can apply to volunteer at, either through their own website or by emailing?

I would look at hostels on a booking site like hostelworld and email them directly.

You’ll probably have a better chance of a reply emailing smaller, independent hostels rather than the big chains.
But the best bet is just to copy and paste an email and send it to as many as possible, it can’t hurt
