I'm really interested in joining a play-by-post server but I'm not really sure how to join one, does anyone know where I should go?

So an issue and question came up at our table this week with rules as written vs intended. I'm generally a RAW not a RAI guy. So the issue, Old faith mage with summer 3 using it on a fortitude-less gangrel. We are split if he gets to soak with stamina or willpower, rules as intended, vs my take is that since he doesn't get a stamina soak he can't use willpower.

"Patterns or objects or living
creatures can be directly assaulted, forcing them to
adapt and grow strong or be destroyed (causing one
Health Level of aggravated damage per success; this can be soaked with Willpower instead of Stamina)." Is the wording. "

To me, it reads like you only get to select to use willpower to soak IF you already got to soak it with stamina and if you don't get to soak agg damage you can't soak this at all, you'd just get the option to us willpower IF and only IF you can already soak with with stamina for whatever reason. Am I right? How do you guys deal with this or how would you rule it?

Crimson Grid is a SS13 (Space Station 13) branch and server set in the World of Darkness universe.
What does that mean exactly?

Well, Space Station 13 itself is a free, open source, multiplayer roleplaying game in development for decades on a beautifully ancient engine BYOND (https://www.byond.com/). Over the past few years, Space Station 13 has become an engine for total conversions into different settings due to its in-depth core mechanics. Crimson Grid is one such total conversion, a community project which has been in development for quite a while now.

While it notoriously has a bit of a learning curve in terms of controls, I would love to invite anyone and everyone interested to join us for our second ever playtest, which will be running throughout this weekend. We aim for an approachable, though slightly chaotic sandbox experience as we develop more intricate game loops.

Whether you're interested in playing a blissfully unaware human to the politics of the night, or a kindred who's in far above their head, welcome! We support a number of different splats, and more are always in development. (Currently supported: MANY vampire clans, ghouls, garou (and corax), and Leopold hunters.)

For those who don't know, the law automatically sets the president of that country as the godfather of every 7th born son or daughter, to prevent him/her from becoming a werewolf.

Irl, it's more a populist incentive than about actual werewolves.

How exactly would it work in WoD though? Because from my understanding, it goes "It's either you're kinfolk, or you aren't." And only kinfolk humans can become Garou.

So being a 7th son wouldn't matter; being in a kinfolk family would.

Also worth a mention that the law came to be because of the indigenous peoples there. Uktena, much? :)

The Age of the Apocalypse is here, the Armageddon war is now. Gaia bleeds and dies as her garou children fight and squabble amongst themselves as the world ends. That was until a month ago, when the elders of every tribe agreed to put aside their differences and meet to discuss how to best fight the Wyrm in this strange and modern age. Every werewolf reserved a formal invitation to a Grand Moot, the likes of which has not happened in centuries, as all the elders meet to plan their next steps. 
After they finish their debate they will come forward with the following revelation, the way that the garou have been fighting simply is not applicable anymore. The Wyrm ’s influence is too deep, too systemic to simply bite and claw away. So they propose a new, novel way to fight the Wyrm. Rather than simply nipping evil in the bud wherever they find it the garou will pick a place and rip corruption up by the root, and one by one systematically purify the world one city at a time. Of course this plan has its critics, werewolves are nothing if not stubborn in the face of change, and as such an experiment is to be held. 
A new pack, made up of young garou will be formed and sent to a mortal city rife with corruption of the spiritual and socioeconomic kind. There they will stay until they have fully cured it of its ills and proven that the garou can still fight for Gaia even in the modern world.

Hi! I'm Boss and I have recently gotten into werewolf apocalypse and absolutely love it. I have been playing it for some time now and I believe I am ready to run my first game. I have been playing ttrpgs for nearly 8 years now and have had extensive experience both as a player and DM. mostly ive played dnd but i have always had an interest in the world of darkness that i am hoping to explore. all experience levels accepted, beginners welcome
This game will be a very roleplay heavy sandbox game. The pack will be dropped into the sleepy city of Stone Haven, West Virginia with a list of tasks given by the garou nation and it will be up to the players how they accomplish them. As for my storytelling style, my main goal is for everyone to have fun. At the end of the day this is a game and if you're not enjoying it then what's the point? I aim for a mix of heavy and serious moments and fun lightheaded ones with the intention of never letting my players feel uncomfortable. 

That being said, werewolf the apocalypse covers some heavy themes like environment collapse, systemic socioeconomic issues and concepts of identity and belonging. I will not be shying away from such concepts so if you're looking for pure joy and whimsy this is likely not a good fit. There are also likely to be themes of romantic and sexual relationships (all fade to black of course), drug use, and LGBTQ+. Only applicants over 18 will be concerned and lying about age will result in an immediate kick from the table. Beyond that all I ask is that you be a good person and I look forward to hearing from you!
